When Logan Chapman decided to join Forium Solutions, he wasn’t looking for just another job. He was looking for a company whose values matched his own. He found it at Forium, where he has served as Operations Manager at our Talmo, GA warehouse since May 2026.
Logan was born and raised in Coastal Georgia. After college in Mississippi, he returned to Savannah and joined Target’s distribution operations. Over seven years there, he worked his way up from team member to team lead to operations manager, and he found his strong suit in warehouse management. What began as a job turned into a calling, thanks to the mentors who showed him what a team can do when it works toward a common goal.
Logan describes his leadership style simply: servant leadership. He puts his team’s needs and experience first, and he believes that’s what prepares a team for the hard days.
“When challenges arise down the road, I know that they’ll be up for the challenge,” he says, “because they know that I’ll have their back.”
That shows up in practice. When volume is heavy, Logan gets on the floor himself and takes on parcel orders so his operators can focus on palletized loads.
Logan’s day starts by reviewing the day before and talking with client partners about any orders that need follow up. From there, he plans the day’s work across multiple clients, delegates to his office team and floor operators, and spends the rest of the day on quality control and projects that improve safety, quality, and productivity.
“I’d rather be proactive than reactive,” he says.
Two of his improvements show that mindset in action:
Every day starts with a short team meeting. The team reviews the previous day’s numbers, the day’s plan, and the current safety and quality focus. Each meeting also includes time to recognize team members, and Logan makes a point of calling out good work in the moment too.
He sees coaching differently than most. Instead of treating it as a correction, Logan treats it as a way to bring everyone back to the standards they share as employee-owners. If someone isn’t confident in a task, the team reviews it together and gets aligned.
Logan also works closely with Forium’s customer relations and logistics teams to solve order, inventory, and carrier issues in real time, so freight keeps moving to clients.
“Every decision I make affects the people I work with,” Logan says. “When an issue comes up, we own it as a team. We find the solution and raise the standard. As owners, we hold ourselves accountable for results, and that accountability is what drives our success. When one of us delivers, we all benefit, and when the company succeeds, everyone shares that success. That sense of ownership drives me to do what’s right, not just for myself, but for the company as a whole.”
Logan and his fiancée, Kirsten, recently moved to the Athens area, where they bought a home and continue to grow her dog training company. Together they’ve visited 30 of the 50 states. Logan enjoys cooking, golf, and time with friends and family. He’s also a musician. Logan plays brass, percussion, and guitar.
Logan is a supporting member of Central Georgia K9 Search and Rescue with his Belgian Malinois, Raptor. The two specialize in tracking, trailing, and live find work. Training can mean following a scent trail that’s several hours old or searching a school, hospital, rubble pile, or collapsed building for people hidden inside. It takes the same patience, preparation, and teamwork Logan brings to the warehouse floor.
Logan says the culture at Forium was fantastic when he arrived, and his goal is to add to it. He looks forward to helping onboard new clients, growing the knowledge and responsibilities of his team, and continuing to learn. Day by day, he’s building a team that looks out for each other, holds itself to a high standard, and treats every client order as its own.
