Team Spotlight: Meet Lisa Coniker, the Leader Behind Forium's Sample Fulfillment Program

At Forium Solutions, a 100% employee-owned 3PL warehousing and sample fulfillment partner, Lisa is the Samples Lead behind Forium's SampleWorks™ program. Her leadership is a big reason SampleWorks has built a reputation for on time, in full sample shipments by being nimble, organized, and proactive.

What Leading the Samples Program Actually Involves

As the team's leader, Lisa is ultimately responsible for how the SampleWorks program performs - overseeing the specialists on her team that handle day-to-day accuracy and timeliness of order entry, replenishment and inventory management. Her job is to make sure they have what they need to succeed for our valued clients.

Where Lisa's ownership shows up most directly is in fulfillment planning and stock optimization. This means working directly with clients (sales, marketing, and product management) to have the right products at the right time in the right quantities.

The Experience Behind the Role

Lisa excels in this role with her strong foundation in supplier relations, product management and purchasing. This experience has given her the tools to make real improvements quickly – with the analytics to prove it.

A Leader Who Still Gets Hands-On

Lisa jumps in wherever the team needs an extra hand, whether that means down packing samples, receiving orders or making a phone call to get a resolution to a problem quickly. Working as a team to continually balance the workload has created a cohesiveness that takes Forium smoothly to the common goal – pleasing our clients.

As Lisa puts it, “my goal as a leader is to continually seek ways to empower the team and exercise critical thinking to develop creative ways to overcome all obstacles. Building strong relationships with team members, clients, and customers is highly valued and supports providing the best possible service. The numbers are important, but my style is to put the right practices in place, overcome obstacles creatively, and build strong relationships and the outcome takes care of itself.”
